Chakra; A Sanskrit, or Indic Language word for spinning wheel or vortex. The word used to describe the invisible energy centers of multicolored flowing energy. The centers which balance, store and distribute the energies of life throughout your body.
There are both Minor and Major points of energy. The Major point is where MANY points converge to form a center of power in relation to your physical body. They vary in number from one system of belief from another, making the total centers anywhere from as little as five centers all the way up to hundreds of centers.
