The Unknown Angel
A lonely child sits on a wooden bench,
Helpless and so full of distress.
He makes a fist and his hands clench tight,
To a piece of paper, his own words of fright.
It is a prayer his heart yearns for,
One wrote in anguish from his heart's door.
A tap on the shoulder, a man towers tall,
With a smile he greets him feeling the call.
He sits down beside a little boy so afraid,
As he speaks, his own heart prays.
"Help me to see what this little boy feels!
And help me to know a way to heal."
Arms to hold a little one so tender,
In a time of distress, he is to render.
He is an angel like you and I,
Just taking the time to hear a cry.
The call may come when one least expects,
To be an angel, to aid in distress.
We have the power to help each other,
But first we must love our fellow brother.
Angels are beings like you and I,
To help a world that seems to die.
Enrich your soul someway today,
By helping someone along your way.

Angel Inside You
Don't look to far
for beings of splendor
just look inside
its always been there
the Angel inside you
shining right through
when you say that kind word
when you do that good deed
when you stop and help
someone who's truly in need
not every angel has wings
or comes from above
there's an angel inside you
put there by love

Angel
Angel, with those angel eyes
Come and take this earth boy
Up to paradise
Angel, may I hold you tight?
Never kissed an angel
Let me kiss one tonight
If I said "I love you"
Would I be speaking out of turn?
I'm only human, but I'm willing to learn
Angel, make my wish come true
Let me be in heaven here on earth with you
Angel, never kissed an angel
Let me kiss one tonight
If I said "I love you"
Would I be speaking out of turn?
I'm only human, but I'm willing to learn
Angel, make my wish come true
Let me be in heaven here on earth with you
Angel, Angel

From A Distance
(Written by Julie Gold)
From a distance, the world looks blue and green,
and the snow capped mountains white.
From a distance, the ocean meets the stream,
and the eagle takes to flight.
*From a distance, there is harmony,
and the echo through the land.
It's the voice of hope, it's the voice of peace,
it's the voice of every man.
From a distance, we all have enough,
and no one is in need.
And there are no guns, no bombs and no diseases,
no hungry mouths to feed.
From a distance, we are instruments,
matching in a common band,
playing songs of hope, playing songs of peace,
there is the song of every man.
God is watching us, God is watching us,
God is watching us, from a distance,
ohh God is watching us ....... from a distance.
From a distance, you look like my friend,
even though we're at war.
From a distance, I just cannot comprehend,
what all this fighting is for?
*From a distance, there is harmony,
and the echo through the land.
It's the voice of hope, it's the voice of peace,
it's the voice of every man.
From a distance, we all have enough,
and no one is in need.
And there are no guns, no bombs and no diseases,
no hungry mouths to feed.
From a distance, we are instruments,
matching in a common band,
playing songs of hope, playing songs of peace,
there is the song of every man.
God is watching us, God is watching us,
God is watching us, from a distance,
ohh God is watching us ....... from a distance.
it's the hope of all, it's the love of all,
it's the heart of every man.
It's the hope of all, it's the love of all,
it is the song of every man.
Oh..God is watching us, God is watching us ..... from a distance
